BERLIN Dec 10 (Reuters) - Germany's finance ministry does not expect the decision by Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti to resign to destabilise the euro zone, a spokeswoman said on Monday.

"We do not expect any destabilising effect and we expect Italy to keep meeting its agreed European commitments and to stick to its reform path," ministry spokeswoman Marianne Kothe told a news conference.
