Jan 15 (Reuters) - The following financial services industry appointments were announced on Tuesday. To inform us of other job changes, email to moves@thomsonreuters.com.

The bank named Joe Saffire as head of global banking for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Saffire had spent 20 years with HSBC Plc, where he was most recently chief operating officer and head of international banking in Germany.

The sovereign wealth fund appointed Gregory Eckersley as global head of internal equities. He will be based in Abu Dhabi.
